Correcting Submissions

Of course you can always correct or update the files and data you submitted – whether it’s because you’re changing something in the text, have found better chords, want to change the license or add a link etc.

Updating song files

If you want to update a song, please save it under a new file name:

• add __V2 directly before the .pro file extension
• If the currently submitted file has already been updated, just increase the number by 1.

So that means:

Submitter__Titel.pro => Submitter__Titel__V2.pro
Submitter__Titel__V2.pro => Submitter__Titel__V3.pro

Then send us this file as a new submission and add [Update] to the subject line of the email.

Please explain in the email what you changed (so we can review it more easily).

If you’re updating multiple files, the same limits apply as for new submissions.

Updating your registration

If information in your registration changes, simply send us a new registration by email with an additional [Update] in the subject line.

We’ll then delete your old registration and replace it with the new one.
